So, it's been two weeks since my last weigh in. I like to wait a week after a holiday to make an official weigh in. It helps calm my obsessiveness about looking at the number on the scale. I did look at my weight, and I gained 3 and a half over Easter. It took me the whole week to get back to pre-Easter weight, then last night we had a birthday party for my mom. Chicken wings, spinach/artichoke dip, veggies, salad, chips, and of course cake and ice cream. I didn't go horribly bad with my eating, however I probably could have made some better choices. So, it was a little gain this week. No biggie. I knew what needed to be done. I went to the gym today and made my fat cells cry and scream. Next week I am hoping to have a loss. I keep going strong with what I'm doing, and I'm proud that I can lose weight the way I have. Hope you all had a great weekend.

Happy Friday to all my FS friends. What a day. Today I finished my 8 week C25K app. I was able to go 3.8 miles today in 40 minutes. I almost got 3.2 miles in my 30 minute run, but that's ok. I can't believe that 8 weeks ago I was huffing and puffing my way to the 30 minute finish with the 60 second jog/run and 90 second walk intervals. Now I am going for 30 minutes at a jog/run and able to complete it. So, at least once a week I will be on the elliptical going for my 5K. The bike is also calling my name. I can't wait to start using more of the cardio equipment. So, thanks to seeing Redgirl's post the other day, I decided to get myself a new scale. So, I purchased a scale that will tell me body weight, body fat, muscle mass, water weight, etc. I know it won't be totally accurate, but it will be nice to see more than just my weight on the scale. Give me some more numbers to compare to. So, my number is probably going to change, and I'm guessing in the direction I don't want it to change in. But I am not going to worry about that. I am going to start there, and finish where I have my ultimate goal set at. Have a great weekend everyone. Talk to you all on Monday.

Happy Monday to my FS friends. And a happy Pi day to all my fellow geeks out there. What a weekend. What a drop. Things are starting to feel great and I am starting to look the part. I had seen a really good friend last night and he and his wife couldn't get over how much better I am looking. That was really nice to hear, and it was great motivation to keep going. The gym today was great. Got in 3.5 miles on the elliptical in 38 minutes. I seem to be getting better as it goes on. I had to hold onto the bars on the machine twice, so I don't count that as a complete run without rest, but it is getting closer. I am on week 8 of the C25K app and I couldn't be more surprised with how I am doing. I wouldn't have ever thought that I could go for a long time at a 6 mph job without having to stop to catch my breath. I also had leg day today. The only reason I dislike Mondays anymore. I upped my weight, both a good and bad idea. lol. I'm sore, but a good sore. Back to work. Keep up the excellent job everyone. Have a great day.
