Today has been like this...coffee, water, cleaned gym, worked out in gym, home for shower and eat food...Wellshire ham, happy chicken egg, havarti on a gluten free english muffin...put bedsheets in washer, go to kohl's for big sale and buy new bras (which are 2 band sizes smaller than about 9 months ago!!! still the same big ass cup size. ha!), go to mom's and go over her budget (left there with a headache. we argue constantly and she is in denial that she is on a fixed income. UGH!), home and put sheets in dryer, hungry and killed the green beans and potatoes from last week, killed the last serving of Blue Diamond brand pecan rice crackers.

Now I'm about to make mashed sweet potatoes (with a banana per Rachael Rae recipe-eh, why not) and salisbury steak for my meals this week. The other meals will be more salad (have plenty left) and ham/cheese/english muffins. Will probably do protein shakes for breakfast.

I will also have the grape/chocolate snacks, my own trail mix, and bananas. Oh and wasabi peas! MMMM!!

I really wish I could lie down now and go to sleep. Workout kicked my butt today. Then 2 LONG hours trying to find bras that fit. Can't believe I went down 2 band sizes!! Then my mom mentally zapped what energy I had left in me. But I HAVE to cook it tonight or have no food.

Hope everyone has a good week and can hit the ground running at it!

*note: awesome snack alert. read last para...

Today was cheat day. I ate out for every meal. Not my intention...but that's how it ended up.

Cleaned my house this morning, got laundry going then headed to the store and realized it was 1 pm and all I'd had was coffee. So hit a drive thru. Went to Whole Foods then hit Yagoot right by it (frozen greek yogurt-got a coconut and white peach mix with NO toppings). Went to Kroger. Picked up nephew (N) to take him driving and shopping. Took food home. N decided he would rather shop for clothes than have driving lesson. OK. Hit Kohls (1X and XL top) and Old Navy (XL top and XL shorts!). Took N to BW3's (12 asian zing boneless wings with a tall Killians on tap). Took him to meet brother J at the mall. Then overindulged having Orange Leaf (frozen yogurt you serve yourself and weigh-cherry, cheesecake, coconut, brownie-nowhere near as good at Yagoot). Finished drying clothes and towels, and heading to bed now. Funny thing...I've had 3x the water today than I have been getting each day working 2 jobs. Gotta get it in!

Tomorrow is wash bedsheets, cook food for the week and just relax! Oh, and do mom's budget and take it to her (she's not gonna like it).

I'm making salisbury steak with mashed sweet potatoes and whatever frozen veggies are in the freezer...Wellshire brand ham w/havarti cheese on gluten free english muffins...and salads again. breakfast will be egg-ham-bake ramekins and protein shakes with bananas and/or strawberries. Got more stuff to make homemade trail mix.

Oh! And I got organic grapes (ALWAYS eat organic with grapes) to make a wonderful snack that I did around Christmas of last year. It's PERFECT cause it's sweet, salty, juicy and crunchy. You need grapes, chocolate and raw pecans (no toasting, roasting, salt or oil) chopped in little pieces.
-rinse and dry grapes then break into groups of 2-4 grapes per 'branch'
-melt dark chocolate (70% or higher cacao for the health benefits) either in double boiler or slowly microwave 20-30 seconds at a time, stirring in between-DO NOT OVERHEAT...icky burnt taste and a mess
-hold group of grapes by branch, dip halfway down in chocolate, then dip in chopped pecans
-place on wax paper so chocolate can dry/cool
And there ya go! A great snack to hit any sweet tooth or any case of the 'nibbles' LOVE this one!

Yesterday. Hmm... protein shake w/maca and strawberries. Lunch was salad. And dinner was green beans and potatoes. BUT...for had a snack bag of cheese-its at job 1 and handful of pretzels at job 2. Could have been worse, but it adds up.

Today, guess a protein shake again. Lunch...green beans and potatoes. Dinner...green beans and potatoes? HAHA! I don't have anything prepared. I was too tired last night to think about it. I have an apple and almond butter I've been carrying around, so that with some trail mix could be my 'dinner'.

I am gonna have to have a back up plan. Gotta watch my $$ this month with the job switch, so can't buy stuff willy-nilly which means I can't get my protein bars that I love. Hopefully next month I can do that for meal alternatives.

I think I'm gonna try to make some salisbury steak this week...or something like it with steamed veggies. Smelled it when I left job 1 yesterday and my mouth was watering.

No exercise today...too tired. And I know that exercise will help with my energy level...but I'm gonna not worry about this week. Next week I hope to be better adjusted to this schedule and less likely to skip morning workouts. Will still do my Sunday...I hope. That is when J leaves but I don't know what time it all happens yet.

Good morning everyone!! I could use a little bit more sleep, but I'll be fine. I was worried about what I would do for breakfast cause I used most of my time making a salad I should have made last night. Was contemplating a drive thru...BUT thought about how it would make my stomach feel and how I would feel that way most of the day AND I didn't want to waste money on it. So I went with the protein shake cause it took about 1 minute to make in my Ninja!

Breakfast-water, vanilla protein powder, banana, maca powder. Uhh.... YUM!!

Snack-homemade trial mix

Lunch-lettuce, romaine, spinach, egg, ham, tomato, cucumber, red onion, sunflower seeds, broccoli, radish, yogurt ranch dressing

Snack-red grapefruit segments

Dinner-green beans and potatoes with tomato

I also had some wasabi rice crisps/crackers (gluten-free and crunchy!) and....another scoop of ice cream since I got home. My stomach was GROWLING when I left job 2! And anything else, I would have to clean, cut up, prepare somehow. I am NOT going to make this a habit. But I buy too much food as it is. Fruit and veggies go bad cause I don't prepare them. (damn, just remembered I do have some watermelon cut up)

I'm gonna give myself 15 minutes to relax, check FB and eat my scoop. Then I'm back in the kitchen getting ready for tomorrow. Salad has to be prepared tonight cause I am supposed to workout in the morning and won't have time to do it then. Then...I'm going to bed.

Night!
