Everyone is still asleep (including our dog) and the house is peaceful. Well, got through a week of special celebrations and now I can get back to controlling more of what I eat. But, it unfortunately has left some yummy treats behind. I will only have a very small amount and I will take those calories into my RDI account.
I feel confident and focused again that I can control myself. When you allow yourself to eat "non-diet" foods per se; for me I have to be in a position of mental strength or I'm on a slippery sugar slope. I want at least 5 lbs off by mid-March. This was my original timeline when I started FS in early January and I'm going to stick with it. I was hoping to have done better by now, but it's not too late to make up some ground with a solid diligent effort in the next 4 weeks. I don't have to reach my stated FS goal weight as I'm not sure where I want my goal weight to be yet. I guess somewhere between 122 - 125 works for me. Have a great diet day everyone!

Had a really lovely night out with my gorgeous husband and now I'm ready to plan ahead for tomorrow. I like to plan as much as possible for the upcoming day as I find this very effective for staying on track. Will start my day off with juicing some veggies and fruit and get my run over and done with. It's not my run day tomorrow, but I think I will do an extra day as I'm hoping to be pretty lazy afterwards. Plus my brother invited us over for dinner and he's a fantastic cook, so I need to burn some extra calories again.

Hmm...weight is up a bit today. Well that sucks, I'm pretty sure it's just water retention, but it's never nice to see. I only weight myself once a week (don't even like to do this) and next week is TOM, so I better drink extra water to combat the usual water gain.

Going to get to bed earlier tonight, so I can get through an hour of running tomorrow. I'm going to make it a good endurance run. I use to focus on the speed, but since my hip socket gets a bit sore after fast runs I've toned it down and it seems to have fixed the problem.
My other half and I are going out tomorrow for a date night, so I need to keep my calories low during the day so i can really enjoy dinner. Planning ahead is KEY!

I'm ready to get my self-integrity back with regards to my commitment to make this work. I will reduce the amount of white carbs I eat, but will not eliminate them completely because I don't want to. I need to learn to just control how much I eat of it and just at one meal. I know I can still lose weight like this as long if I just keep the portions very small - a compromise. But, some days I will certainly have to go cold turkey on the carbs.
Today was a special day, so I allowed myself some chocolates, but it's still within my RDI. I am determined to reach my goal by mid-March.
