Yesterday wasn't bad. I had more calories but did not increase my exercise. I was still sore from the day prior with moving things around.

This morning, I am still overly sore in a couple places which lets me know I definitely over did it moving the rooms around. Did some extra stretching exercises this morning to help loosen that up.

Heading into inventory weekend. Which means I get to swap my sleep cycle from days to overnights not once but twice in a couple days. Hoping that it does not take me as long as last month to recover. However, I still have this sinus infection so who knows.

I have received a couple messages recently with folks talking about my desk work. So thought I would explain a little. I am taking college courses so there is that. But my vice, is diamond painting. I usually work on one of my projects after work to help me wind down. So while yes, I normally have 3 - 8 hours of desk work listed, it is not all just sitting there. I do get up walk around and stretch at regular intervals. I have a watch that vibrates every so many minutes for just that.

Yesterday I was off work and with inventory weekend coming and how my upstairs neighbors are, I decided to finally move my bedrooms around. I traded my bedroom for my storage/cat's room in back of the apartment. What a workout. I am achy today and have work. And if anyone thinks I am going to shovel this packed, wet snow we got dumped on last night, HA. Thank God for 4 Wheel Drive and only a half mile drive to work, even though it is pure downhill. I also moved my craft area from the corner in living room to one wall of the storage/cat room. Bunch of stuff I definitely no longer needed gotten rid of/donated. Needless to say, what took up half a room now is neatly boxed and in a single closet. YAY ME! I Did It!

Feel real good about yesterday overall. Though I didn't eat a whole lot. I should have eaten more protein for sure, but for some reason, perhaps because I am not feeling the best again, I just am not hungry.

Just got done pulling 2 very long draining days at work. When I got home last night, I just did not feel hungry. In fact, I was to tired I felt almost sick thinking about food. Ate what would sit easy and went to bed. Still tired today, but feeling better overall.

I have started tracking more than just calories in/out and activity. My doc suggested a different scale, which gives me, with as he stated, relative accurate numbers for BMI, Body Fat %, Skeletal Muscle %, visceral fat, and a couple other things. Those numbers are interesting. I also redid my physical measurements. While my weight seems to be flexing high, I am down a half an inch on my legs and arms. Doc gave me a firm reminder that I can easily be gaining some muscle replacing fat and that the number will remain the same. So I think I need to focus on those other measurements and keep a side eye on the scale.

Being over 50, I am looking to focus more on my skeletal health by building more skeletal muscle first through resistance training while working on bringing off the extra fat.

Still not in the best place mentally, but I will get there.
