I think I am finally figuring out some of the additional benefits to the site and tracking. I need to go back over the last week and add in some "exercise" items. I never took into consideration my work time and the calories burned.

For example today, I worked 8 hours. I am a deli manager and though some may think it is not a strenuous job, some days it is. I made platters today, did the morning fry for food services, put away product in freezer... I never took any of that into consideration for calorie burn.

After inputting just that, and still yet to put in my steps done today, I am in a serious deficit for calories out compared to in today.

Just not really hungry. More tired from the day. On a positive note, I hit my water intake goal for the day. Yay me! Have I mentioned I really don't like water? To bland. And the tap water here is not good.

I am starting over yet again. Went to the doctor recently and everything is all over the place. My bloodwork was ok, but need to make improvements. I topped 210 again in 2022. It had been a long time since I was that big. My usual hover weight ranges from 145 - 155. And I am real good with those numbers. I like my body then. My bloodwork is better then. I am striving to get back there.

I find as I get older, with past injuries I have had, a lot of things are much harder for me. I need another back surgery and my doctors are concerned with the added weight and how it will affect the outcome. I am concerned as well.

I have tried other groups and programs and ended up leaving for various reasons. I work with my doctors for a dietary and exercise plan so that is not so much why I am here. I came for the support and encouragement to not only reach my goal but to maintain it. Becoming healthier and happier with my body.

We think the bulk of my weight comes from stress. Not so much stress eating, because I go the opposite way when high stressed, I don't eat. I work a very demanding job both mentally and physically. I am on my feet and walking between 9 and 12 hours a day. I need to find ways to reduce stress. Increase other activities. And learn to love my body again. I am hoping here is where I can obtain the long term positive effects I need to not only achieve my goals but maintain a healthier lifestyle.
