Tried pickleball today for the first time and love it. I used to play badminton and played around at tennis but pickleball does really get you moving. Plan on playing more!! But I guess it's a "custom exercise" as it doesn't pop up under the typical list of exercises.

Have had a bad hiatus. Have even eaten bread (which, in me, causes flatulence and bloating) - you'd think by now I'd know better. Visotors are my excuse but I have to get things under control. Am totally missing my objectives. Time to step it up again. Here we go!!!

Am greatly encouraged by yesterday's progress. We went with friends to a master dance class but stopped for dins beforehand. Had scallops & salad plus mineral water, no dessert then burned it off dancing. Finally broke thru the 160 barrier even if just by a little bit. Yippee!!

Am in a good frame of mind. Having even a small weight reduction makes a big difference in my motivation. My husband says he can see and feel a difference. I love that. Clothes are fitting better. I sometimes think I have so little to worry about when I see other FS'ers with far bigger challenges - my paltry 10 lbs that I'm trying to lose doesn't seem like a big deal but it is to me as I've been carrying up to an extra 20lbs for far too long. I'm sick of it. So to all you out there, no matter what you're trying to accomplish, we're all in it together for healthier lives, bodies & minds. And we can do it!!!
