Checking in. Had a bit of a setback on Saturday. Ended up having some sort of migraine at the end of my workout. Lost most of my vision for an hour, followed by vomiting and a 3.5 hour tension headache. Drank a lot of water these last few days and skipped sundays gym time. I also ate a burrito to get something heavy back into my stomach Saturday. Have a doctors appointment set up to check things out. Has anyone experienced something similar? On a positive note, I’ve kept off the scale and started doing measurements again. Turns out my pound of weight loss translates to 1.5 inches off my waist! So screw that scale. My goal is to gain lean muscle and lose fat. Really trying to get my mind off the scale and measure my progress in a healthier way.

Feeling a little frustrated. I’ve been working my butt off the last few weeks and eating very healthy. And I’ve only dropped a pound. Is there something I should be doing differently? I’m getting 7-8 hrs of sleep and doing an 1.5 hrs of cardio and strength training. I see some results physically, but I was really expecting more of a weight change.

Very proud of myself this week. It’s been 3 weeks back in the gym going 5 days a week. I’ve been making time in the mornings to go before work. My boyfriends works on a bakers schedule so we go to bed early. It allows me to get up at 2 am walk a mile to the gym and workout for an hour and a half. I’ve also been adding a walk to work two days a week. Which ends up being 3 miles on top of my workout. I’m definitely seeing results. And I’m loving the energy I have. Getting the proper amount of sleep makes the biggest difference. Trying to eat more veggies this week, and stay off the scale. It’s been a week and a half since my last weigh in, and I’m not stressing out as much as I normally do. Hey wish me luck 🙂

Going to start posting on here to be more accountable. I’m at a point in my weight loss where I want to focus on losing fat and gaining some more lean muscle. Always looking for advice. :) I’m currently in the gym 5 days a week for about an hour and a half. My diets a little mixed, just focusing on eating healthy. No read meats, limited dairy, and low fat. For the time being I’m not weighing myself. I want to challenge myself to focus on non scale goals such as upping my weights and pushing myself to do more HIIT and less machine based cardio. So my weight entry may not be accurate. Let me know if you guys have any tips. Thank you!

Haven’t posted these before. Trying to get back in the grove of things. Started at 230 with the goal to be “skinny” now I’m at 130 with the goal to be healthy and strong.
