Did I mention I LOVE my FS friends?! You guys are so caring and remember such genuine details and give advice that is so real, pertinent, and heartfelt that it always inspires me and helps me bounce back!!! Thank you once again (you know who you are!!) :)

Today has been good health-wise. I went to the gym in the evening and did my 30 mins on the cardio (4 min runs @ 5.0 mph, 4 times, interspersed with 1 min walks @ 3.5 mph). After that, I had my Total Body Conditioning class and it kicked butt! I even stayed back for the 15 mins abs class and the 15 mins or so of stretching. My abs are getting better in some ways as I'm able to do more stuff with the stability ball, but still not as good as what others in the class were able to do (the hardest was this move lying down, legs in the air, anchoring a big ball in between the legs and pressed in with the quads..AND then lowering and raising the butt, keeping the ball in place!! It was impossible for me to raise and lower--so I just lay there...wimp, i know!! :(

Meals have been good too:
brunch: mock chicken strips (3 pts) in a stir fry, with sesame oil (2 pts), garlic and chilli. And protein smoothie including strawberries, ff yogurt, soy milk, and 1/2 scoop whey protein pwd (4.5 pts), coffee with creamer (2 pts)
Dinner: protein smoothie (1 small banana (1 pt), strawberries (1), 1/2 scroop protein mix (1.5 pts), ff yogurt and soy milk (2)
1/2 boca burger (0.5) and 1/2 serving of chicken strips (0.5), with veggies and a side of brocolli.

Total points: 18 pts (just made it under my 19 pts allowance!)

WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO! Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! Girl power to the MAX! You weren't kidding, were ya! I'm really impressed with the 5.0 mph. I always feel like I'm gonna fall if I go to 4.5. keep up the good work. Great Job!

I don't go to the gym as much as I should, at home I have some dumbells and ankle weights which I really like. I combine that with Yoga and some of my own basic exercises. I'm still missing the cardio, which I try to make up with brief brisk walking (not often enough). Thank you for your comments, it's good to see you doing so well.

Ha! When I started Body Pump (1 hour of strenth training), everybody was doing push ups with their feet on the bench....making them lift their body weight even higher than normal push ups. There I was.....could barely do 2 wimpy girlie ones (on your knees so you're only lifting half your body weight). Now, I'm keeping up with them BUT, still on my knees. I don't even want to talk about lunges (with a weighted bar on your shoulders) but, surpisingly I'm doing a lot better with them now too. It's only been 4 weeks. You'll be surprised how well you'll adapt in a couple of weeks. Gret job on the work out and the points, yay!

I know how you felt with those ab moves. My Yogalates class had a lot of similar core work and I couldn't do some of the moves and was literally shaking through most of the others. But think of it as a plus - you have lots of room to show progress! You had a stellar day all around with food AND exercise. Well done!

Great workout and keeping your food in control! Try not to compare yourself with others in your classes. Pretty soon there will be new people in the class wishing they could do what YOU can do! Heck, I wish I could do what you can do! BTW, I love my FS friends, too! (((((hugs)))))

Wow...you are KICKIN' BUTT with your exercise and food plan! I've NEVER taken the treadmill up to 5.0. There's no way I could keep up with you in the gym! Hmmmmm....maybe I should hire you as my personal trainer. :) Love ya! ((((HUGS))))
