My daughter just got the call from the recruiter...she goes back to MEPS on Thursday to meet with the Chief and sign her 5 year contract for Corpsman!!!! She leaves for boot camp in April. I am so excited for her. Right now she says she plans on retiring from the Navy....I really hope she likes it so much that she does so.
Wow so excited for her and so really proud of her.

Thanks y'all. She is very excited and I am excited for her. She is already saying that she wants to make it her career. I hope she does like it that much as I think it would be a great career path for her. Not only working in healthcare (what she loves) but the opportunity to see the world.

Rachel -Let's hope so!! Now she just needs to get her but in gear with the running; it may be a good thing as maybe I can go with her (she will outrun me) and we can encourage one another.
