Just think how good it'll taste after fasting for it.

I'm enjoying it, and each time I fast it seems to be less of an issue. I don't seem to notice it so much. BBQ. Yeah! Hardwood pellet smoked pork chops, salad, rice, and fruit for dessert. Pretty close to heaven after no food for a while. Apples taste like candy after a fast. :)

Your supper sounds delicious! Do you lift on the days you fast?

I will lift light tonight after the meal. I'm actually on a deload this week. All lifts went static on my. CNS needs a quick break. I don't lift on days when I'm over 24 hours. I hear you, Outlander. It's like a whole new level of energy afterward.

So long as this dinner isn't a full day's worth of calories, you'll definitely drop weight. Otherwise, there's no point to depriving yourself of meals for 24 hours. I found it pretty easy to end the fast the next morning, as my breakfast (2 pieces of fresh fruit plus almonds) is only 320 calories).

I think my husband would shoot me if I fasted because I would get cranky really fast. Keep up the good work!

Deload? CNS needs a break? Bruce, did you get hurt squat lifting your own bodyweight? Several days ago you mentioned that was a goal.

Watcher. It may be a mental barrier but all my lifting went south at the same time so likely my CNS (central nervous system) needs a break. @soon. It will be under 1000 calorie dinner and my maintenance is 2500. Should be fine. @Mick. I'm at work, so the wife won't be hearing me snarl.

:) I know what CNS means, but thanks for taking the time to explain. Well, I'm glad you're not injured and I'm sure you will find the solution to the lifting issue. Have a good evening.
