Today is the feasting day of my new regimine. I ate 3 meals and 3500+ calories today. It also marks the second day of rest following my weight training session. I have been sore all day because I am just now returning to the gym following a 10 year long hiatus. My total weight loss has been 57 lbs at my lightest weight with Keto, IF, and zero exercise. My goal weight is 205, but I want to achieve sub 10% body fat. I will not be eating for the next 48 hours and I will be lifting weights in a fasted state about 20 hours from now. I am very excited to document my progress over the next few months. My plan is to cycling the following 3 days:
Day 1 Feast 3 meals Keto 3000+ calories and rest.
Day 2 Fast with Zero calories and evening weight training.
Day 3 OMAD with evening meal Keto 2000 calories and rest.
I expect to maintain a calorie deficit over the 3 day cycle with a 48 hour fast. I should see a drastic cut over the next few weeks by utilizing increased HGH levels to stimulate fat metabolism and stimulate autophagy with the fasted workout. Refeeding will be focused on high quality nutrient dense Keto friendly foods, and any carbohydrates I consume will be from vegetables. Here is to a fresh healthy restart to my life and the new year! I'm just trying to get to a total body transformation as I learn to take better care of myself through diet and exercise. I had skin ailments and digestive issues before I started this journey and a family history of diabetes, heart disease, and eating disorders within my immediate family. I ate a very high sugar diet and needed a change. This lifestyle is also having a positive impact on my wife and children's lives as well. I have eaten Keto macro for 8 months to regain insulin sensitivity because of the sugary diet choices in my old lifestyle. Weight loss began as a side effect of the diet choices that I was making. I continued to adjust my plan as I got better at it and found what works for me. What ever we decide to do health wise has got to be sustainable for us to make lasting changes. I am motivated to stay with time restricted eating and occasionally fasting for 24-48 hours with a low carb diet. I'm not as strict on carbs that come from vegetables though because of the nutrient density that they have. Low carb to me means less than 100 grams gross per day but right now I aim for less than 50 gross carbs. I normally end up around 20-30 net carbs each day while consuming 100-200 grams of fat and about 120grams protein. I don't expect to drop below 200lbs body weight so these macros fit my goals right now. Love you all FS! It's
