I weighed myself this morning when I got up. A nice little bump since I've rearranged my macros. I'll take it!

It's the week before Christmas and all was not quite as a mouse. Deep within the garage gym I trained and rocked out the house! Visions of PR's and violent deadlifts danced in my head. And fear of not breaking them I did dread.
Ahhh.... I'm kidding guys! I took this week off from my day job. I love it when I get to do that because it gives me a chance to rest well and train hard. Believe it or not, but I also eat better. We all get in a rut from time to time. For me that's when I try to balance office work and daily life. When I get the chance to step back and assess it all that's when it seems to smooth out.
Here's today's workout:

I haven't weighed in on here in a while. I've been keeping track with an app that I use on my phone. I shot up after Thanksgiving, but came right back down after getting back to walking more. I'm going to try to slowly add calories and get back to a slight surplus. After listening to Layne Norton on how to "bulk" properly, I'm finally going to give it a try. In the past I just ate my face off and trained hard. Now that I'm older, it seems to be a bit more difficult to do it that way.

It was my birthday on Sunday. I have a ritual that I do for every birthday: Birthday Squats!! I take whatever I'm weighing times the number of years in age. And I try to do it in the last amount of sets possible. I turned my heater up too high today and had to rack every set of 10. I didn't record it that way. Let's see if you can guess what it is 🤣.
