Why my weight spiked after the day I was on calorie deficit?

We all have been there,right?

There is a day when you have done all the chores properly, you were on a calorie deficit, everything was in check then comes the next day when you get a spike in weight. That does not mean you gained fat overnight. Its not possible to gain fat in one night.

There are many reasons for the spike in the weight the other day, you had more salt than usual, you had more carbs than usual, you had your dinner later than usual, you worked out harder than usual, you are stressed, you did not do the business in the loo, you ate something and then weighed yourself and for ladies being that time of the month.

All of these are responsible for weight spike the next day. Its normal because due to these reasons body hold more water in your body which shows a spike in the weight. Its the natural phenomenon of the body and you’ll see that it will go away in 3-4 days.

Don’t get stressed due to short time weight fluctuations. Its a long long journey, embrace it.

Is olive oil better than other oils for weight loss?

See there are different types of edible oils available in the market and they are roughly os same calories. 1tbps of oil roughly consist of 120kcal as as olive oil. Using olive oil in same amount wont help you loose weight faster. The principle of weight loss is consistently being in a calorie deficit regardless of type of oil you use. Sure olive oil has more nutrients than other oil but that doesn’t mean that using olive oil will be more helpful than other oils

All types of oils are fine in moderation. I have to use oil which is easily available and affordable to you. If half of you daily calorie intake is from oil and you still are in a calorie deficit, you are going to loose weight. Type of oil matter much much less in the weight loss journey, total calorie intake matter more than anything.
