I have a party tonight, I don’t want to get off track?

You can always plan for it.

We are humans, we have a life. I know when you try to loose weight you restrict yourself a bit for that and you have to. In order to loose weight we have some days like birthdays of family and friends New years Diwali Holi. And you don’t want to miss out on this thing.

Instead of not going there and completely missing out on life, plan it. If you know you have a party coming and you want to go and eat then you can eat less food(calories) for whole day and at night u can eat more volume(calories). This way you can be under you calorie deficit and you also enjoyed the party. Or.....

You can eat as much as you want on that day, basically make that day a cheat day and get back on track the next day. Or you can stop when you feel full, this is also a strategy but it works differently for different people.
