had my period last week..and wasn't logging in. i was upset. for the obvious mood related reasons that accompany that time of the month, but also because menstruation means i'm not pregnant. so...on the bright side, i will be able to don a carnival costume at the end of the month for caribana...and i suppose i can also continue pushing to get down to 140 lbs.

Aunt Flo got in the way of the gym routine. I only went twice during the ordeal...Wednesday morning and Saturday afternoon. My Saturday workout was twice as vigorous as my regular morning routine, so maybe that counts as two! Maybe?

I had the day off work yesterday and planned to go, but never made it out. At the end of the day, my hubby and I spend about an hour shooting hoops. It was fun...and I definitely broke a sweat, running around after that ball! So, I look forward to doing that sort of thing more often. Today, beside my walk to the subway, and the gym, I also did 30 mins of cardio and some weights. I went for a 15 min walk on my lunch. So I'm hoping for a better week than last week, if I can keep this up. I plan to.

finally got a scale for the house. it calculates BMI and tells you how many calories to consume to maintain my weight. That's a pretty good tool since I'm tracking foods right now. I was surprise to learn that my BMI is up to 23. I remember it being closer to 19 a few years ago. I have to work harder. I can be fit and healthy if I choose to be

So my weight is down a little more....maybe. I stood on it naked....so i'm not paying much attention to the numbers. Although my starting weight of 155 was naked...so I've legitimately lost 7 lbs.

I got up early to take the DH to work. Got all dressed for the gym, but of course it doesn't even open for 2 more hours. I've already lost some motivation. My eyes are puffy and tired, so I suppose I'll nap for an hour then go. But, I'm thinking today would be a good day to try biking to the beach....less traffic on the roads.

Hmmm

Random question of the day? What can I do to lower my BMI?
