Weight was still up yesterday and bringing me down! I must be retaining water or something as my somewhat larger skirt from previous days was fitting me ok!! Though it solved the problem of what to wear to work yesterday, it also made me disconcerted and sad that it was still fitting and not falling off my hips unlike what I'd expected!!

As well. Mr. C continues...I have taken some pills yesterday and hoping for some resolution. I was hoping exercise would help things get moving but it either doesnt' seem to be working or I'm not exercising enough!

Yesterday was my usual fast day, so no food and had 2 large coffees with half and half. I was not supposd to eat anything at midnight when I break the fast, but I was hungry and just had to eat. So I had 1 flatbread and 1/2 a lo-carb tortilla with cheese, sour cream, salsa, and JALAPENOS...no more than 20 carbs for the day and points were pretty low too. I did drink a fair amount of water but didn't track it.

Exercise: Not having eaten and having a long day of teaching and work, I was tired and wasn't all gung-ho about the gym idea but I managed to get there on time, change, and show up at my spinning class. It was scenic spinning, with images of california wine country and trails and mountains projected on the wall and we had to bike "toward" that path. It was a good class...I sweated a fair bit and excited that I could last that long. While I didn't feel sore immediately, later that evening my thighs have been showing the jelly-and-lead effect! So this was good...I definitely have to do this regularly. After spinning, I went to a Tai Chi class, and that was cool...lots of coordinated moves, weight-shifting, stance-holding, and learning about accu-points etc. I am excited that this class promises to show us 24 positions and has great health benefits especially to kidneys as all the swishing and swaying of the spine we'll do will get the kidneys working well at the least. There are 3 guys teachign and so lot of individual attention and one of them offers additional help on Saturday, so this is totally worth the time investment.

Today my goal is to drink 4 bottles of 700 ml bottles and in my workout at least get 30 mins of harder cardio. In addition, I will go to my lunch pilates class. And want to try and get all-body strength training done before hand.

I am frustrated that my weight is not coming off as easily as it did two weeks ago but I just have to try my hardest and leave it at that.

Mr. C can be hard to kick out the door. Keep drinking that water and it should help. Your exercises classes sound so interesting! It's nice to have such a variety.....keeps you from getting bored. It seems that if one gets fortunate enough to have weight fall off easily, after a while, it does stop. I think that it's just the normal rhythm of how your body works. Keep hanging in there and surely it'll start coming off again. (((((HUGS)))))

That spinning class sounds fun!!! Keep on doing the great job that you do. Be patient. You know it'll come off eventually, especially w/all the hard work you're putting into it! Remember,...fitness and eating healthy is a way of life....for the rest of your life. You'll reach your goal wt. I know it! Hey, if all the work was so easy...then savoring the success won't be as fun/fufilling, right? =)
