Weight dipped to a newest low two days ago (144.4) and guess what happened...you guessed it, by that night, it went swinging back up by 2-4 pds!

Activity from Friday and Saturday include some damages, and hence this morning, Sunday, shows a gain at 147.6 pds. Need to straighten things out and get right back in the groove, new goals for this week, new workout schedule, and renewed motivation. Gotta hit the gym with a vengeance and keep the horrible food and wine temptations far, far away...

Damages to date include:
Friday:
Scrambled eggs, several pieces of parmesan cheese, few servings of roasted red pepper hummus. Dinner at a French restaurant where I had two small slices of bread, root vegetable cassoulet including carbs from root vegetables and beans, 5-6 french fries..AND shared a dessert of Mocha Pot du Creme..also had a glass of wine. With things getting so out of control, I threw in the towel and picked up some snacks for late night munching, including gold fish crackers and a little bag of cashews!!!

Saturday: My carbs cravings continued (carbs begets carbs!)...but I tried to hold them down. Started the day with scrambled eggs, cheese, meatless crumbles. Some pieces of parmesan cheese. coffee with creamer. In the evening salad with ranch dressing and veggie patty. Narrowly avoided two disasters: ordering chinese food when my friend ordered some, and late night snacking on more junk---as I was feeling so tempted to (at 2 am!!). I did have a glass of wine earlier in the evening.

Exercise: NONE for three days: Thurs, Fri, and Sat. Need to start my double workouts from today for 5 days straight (3 hour-long workouts with a variety incl running, weights, abs, bike, elliptical, dance videos, pilates).

We almost always weigh more at night. All the food we eat and drink during the day is in our stomach. Plus, if we eat too much sodium we can weigh more, sore muscles from exercise retain water, hormones, et. That's why it's always best to weigh in the same time, with the same clothes, and the same scale. Also, our weight can fluctuate hourly because our bodies are made up of 60% water. It's natural.
