Slow gain is so different than weight loss. Just as spooky. Maybe more because you're eating more but trying to keep it in a very tight range, and the fear of losing control is there. It's fun though, because when you get where you want, you begin treating it all as a game, rather than a necessity. If you've logged what you've done, you can always do it again.
