Day 2: SUCCESS!!

Another fantabulous day of resisting the evils, staying on track, and pushing myself just a bit more every time I wanted to stop..! My best friend and I have started working out together and it's in perfect sync...when I slow down, she pulls a "Jillian", and vice versa (almost!).

Brag points for the day:
1) Two awesome sweating-buckets workout!
60 mins on treadmill, 5 mins intervals of walk/run, 4.39 miles, 445 k burned
30 mins on elliptical (cal ?, rpm 60+, 2.5 miles)
12 mins on bike 55k, about 4 miles (RPM 80-110!!)
Weights: Biceps: 15 pds times 2 sets; 12 pds times 1 set
shoulder raises: 12 pds times 2 sets

Total: 11 miles or so; 800 calories or so; 125 mins or so

2) Meals: Carbs well under control
Breakfast/snack: almonds (3-4 carbs)
Lunch: mock chicken stir fry (6 carbs or so)
Dinner: salad (3 carbs) with veggie patty (2 carbs)
coffee with creamer (3 carbs)
coffee with half and half ( 3 carbs or so)
Total: 20 carbs or so

3)Avoiding temptations! Saw chocolates lying around in my lab, looked at the box, and then closed it--didnt cave and give in!

Work's been on track too...trying to stay focused and make headway in my writing projects...on to tomorrow..!
