Day 1: SUCCESS!!!

Today ROCKED! Food, exercise, time management. Everything was awesome.

1) Workouts: TWICE!
60 mins treadmill: alternate walk/run 5 min intervals, 460 k burned, 4.16 miles, 3.8-4.3 mph (2 mins of 6 mph).
30 mins elliptical: 260 k
30 mins weights (biceps 3 sets, shoulders lateral raises 3 sets, triceps 1 set, chest 3 sets)

I was sweating a fair bit, was tired, but it wasn't completely impossible. I hope I continue to find this energy daily...the aftereffects felt GREAT upon returning from the gym. Pushing myself just a tad more each time i wanted to give up paid off!

Meals:
coffee with cream (2-3 carbs)
1 bag peanuts (4 carbs)
almonds (4 carbs)
soy milk 1 gl (2 carbs)
salad (3?) with 1 veggie patty (2)
a little bit of veggie stir fry with mock beef (2 carbs)
2) Total: 20 carbs or less!!

3) Have cooked extra for the the next 2-3 days, so will be sure to bring my healthy lunch to work and have a sensible dinner daily.

4) I was out shopping at an ethnic store and despite the temptations of all the snacks and foods there, I resisted buying any food items there!

4 awesome brag points today! Plus, energy and mood has been in great form too...so that should count for even additional brag points!
