Isn't it amazing how much more you notice the overload of junk food out there when you are on the path of healthy eating? It's like buying a new car and then suddenly you see "your" car popping up all over the place. Heightened awareness! But, ya, that stuff IS scary!!!!

hey! that's what I call the "pimple effect", i.e.,all of a sudden when you get a pimple, you start noticing others with pimples around ya--AND you think EVERYONE's noticing yours! Thank god for leaving those teenage yrs behind! LOL!

LOL. YOu guys are funny. I'm in your group too, evelyn. I started getting tons of pimples on my forehead starting in January (usually have flawless skin). I felt like I was in high school again! But like "The Secret"...what persists in your thoughts, will exist in life. Constantly focusing on my forehead just made the pimples worse. I think once I started ignoring them they finally went away (only last month...but who's counting)? Yipes I wonder if me writing (and thinking) about them now will bring them back! * quick, trying to focus on something else*
FYI: don't buy Proactive. It just makes your skin dried out. Opps there I go again. LOL.
Like your new profile pic! Yes, you do look slim next to that big tree! Great idea. Maybe when I take the size 29 jeans picture, I should stand next to a Mac truck that says 'wide load'.

I took a class at a 7th Day Adventist college and they only had vegetarian food in their cafeteria and snack bar! Some of it was still yukky food (fries, etc) but mostly it was healthy. JulieC - stop thinking about pimples! Oh, wait! Did I just remind you again? Darn!
