Hoping for better..fearing the worst..
For some reason, I'm still finding it a challenge to get back to my previously-established routine of diet and exercise...Each day I promise to do better, and each day I find myself not having reached the targets....as a result, I keep fearing that the damage is piling on, and slowly but surely, the weight must be creeping back on...
Woke up around 9-ish; skipped workout (my gym buddy bailed and I took that as an excuse to keep on sleeping longer!). Went to a couple of meetings, and pretty much spent the whole day at work (umm..this is supposed to be my time-off from work, humph!!)..
Had only a string cheese for breakfast, and no meals until 2.30 pm or so, at which point I bought a coffee and a pizza...
In the evening, I made a Spinach/tomato/orange salad with a dash of oil, and had a bowl of edamame and an ww icecream...so, all in all, despite the pizza, a pretty good day in terms of points and getting a good protein and veggie intake (I haven't been eating salads lately--it has been a while, so this was a good restart).
My dry mouth-sensation had recovered today; although I didn't drink sufficient water...need to do better.
Thought I might workout after coming home, but I still haven't.
On the positive side, I did make my big to-do list for the rest of the week, so I should be able to get back on track with working out tomorrow, and will bring fruits to work tomorrow, and have a healthy lunch there.
Well, after tomorrow, I really have no excuse. I'll excuse myself today since I had to grapple with an emotionally-draining grades-related situation at work.....
Points: string cheese (2) 9 inch veggie pizza (15) edamame (2) spinach, tomato and orange salad with oil (2) ww icecream (2) total: 23 points
Later update: I went back and re-read the "12 appointments" from my ATW challenge posting...it helped me remember some things I'd sworn to do, but seem to have forgotten (including the one about positive affirmations!)...so have noted those in my palm-pilot, and thus prepared, I should be ready to take-off!
