Remembering my promise made here earlier last week, I'm going to remember to "accentuate the positive" in my journals. So on that note, I did wake up earlier than usual (6.40 am) and went and worked out for 30 mins on the treadmill (160K). Thus, did get in a fair bit of water through the day with this early start. But I kept feeling thirsty--possibly coz it was a warmer day...Breakfast was usual cereal, and packed a good lunch to go.
I had lots of reports to check and sign off on today that took until 2.15 pm--so was quite hungry by then and didn't feel like eating my healthy lunch, and thought I'd pick up that gourmet-looking pizza at work. However, after purchasing it and opening the box, I noticed the pizza didn't look very good today--but I still zapped it in the microwave and ate it completely anyway!
Later had a protein bar, and on the way home had some of the roasted peas I had a can of in my car...Upon returning home, I didn't feel like cooking anything elaborate, but thought I'd have a big salad to get me some veggies...however, I started munching on some pepper-jack cheese and next thing I know, I'd finished half a pack (that'd be 4 servings of 1 oz each, i.e., 12 points!). So b/w the pizza and the cheese, I got too cheesy today!!!
Memo to self: DRINK LOTS OF WATER TOMORROW---CONTINUOUSLY--SO I DON'T OVEREAT ANY OTHER CRAP!!
Meals of the day: Breakfast: ceral and milk (3) cheese (2) Snack: coffee with snack (1) Lunch: 1 veggie pizza (6-9 inch) (15 points?) snack: 1 plum (1) 1 protein bar (3) roasted peas (4) Dinner: 3 servings of cheese! (9 pts) post-dinner snack: grapes (1)
Total: 39 points!! (OUCH!)
Gotta really get back to being serious about this process tomorrow, as I'm rather afraid of the results due to the last few days of fallin' off the wagon. At least I started the workout today...definitely continue that tomorrow. Also, will be going out of town for a couple of days, so there'll be some eating and drinking, and I'd really need to monitor my intake...Probably Wednesday I won't get any exercise, but I definitely need to step it up some more tomorrow!!! Wish me luck!
