Am out tomorrow night for my brothers birthday and am tempted to have a drink. Haven't had any alcohol in 2 weeks and I would like one. I will also be interested to see how long it takes for ketones to come back after it? I don't know yet - I will decide but it is highly likely that I will have a G & T or 2.

It's not the gin you need to worry about, it's the tonic. Bring some sugar free, and you will be okay...I find interesting that you are so easy going about kicking yourself out of Ketosis...like it's nothing. This is your addiction getting one over on you...

The tonic is sugar free , naturally.

The alcohol won't kick you out of keotosis HOWEVER, your body will stop burning the fat and burn the alcohol first. Once all the alcohol is out of your system, you will begin to burn fat again.
