Feeling a little bit better today. Heading over to my future in-laws to watch the Eagles game in about an hour. I still don't have much of an appetite due to my head cold. Was planning on taking down the Xmas tree but that will have to wait til later this week b/c I just don't feel like it today.
I did manage to finally take measurements around my house to start looking for furniture... our townhouse feels so empty and I am NOT a fan of the couches my fiance had before we moved in together. They need to go as soon as we can afford it. :) I'm hesitant to spend much money on our tiny 3rd bedroom to make it the home office he wants b/c I'm thinking in 2.5 years at most we will be just turning it into a nursery. I'll be 33 then and finally done law school so it will be the perfect time for us.
It's been freezing cold here today... "like 4 degrees" the weatherman said. That is not helping our newly adopted boy cocker spaniel w/ wanting to go outside to go potty! He's 2, so when we got him we assumed he was already house-trained... but we were wrong. We've had him for about 6 weeks now and it is proving very difficult. He has a cyst on his brain which renders him a bit slow so the vet said for us to just be patient and consistent and he will "eventually" get the hang of it. I sure hope so! :)
Looking forward to the "whatever it takes" challenge which starts tomorrow.
