One week into Lent. The "rules" for our fast are:
1) As much bone broth as we want
2) Tea and water to drink
3) One piece of sugar free gum daily
4) One meal of soup every day. As much soup as we want, the soup must be 2:1 ratio of broth to veggies/meat
5) No dairy, sweets, or grains. Supplements to fill in nutrients when needed.

So far, it's far easier than any diet or weight loss plan. I rarely feel hungry and if I do, I drink bone broth! The daily meal is filling and satisfying. Some negatives have been loose stool, occasional muscle cramps, and minor headaches. Also, apparently I'm detoxing through my nasal sinuses because I feel like I have a cold but only in my nose! Energy is great, hunger is minimal, sleeping better, even my teeth are cleaner!
