Ok FatSecret, I'm back!
I had a very slim spring, felt pretty cocky since I stayed in the 170s right up until June! I DID finish my dissertation, graduated and am now a "Dr."! But after the stress of completing the thesis, I lost all discipline and just began to eat every which way. And I also stopped exercising. So, surprise, surprise.. I gained my weight back! A week ago, I was 182. The week before that I was 180. A week before that I was 179.. but now I'm 185!
So, what's the plan?
FATSECRET.. I abandoned this site once I reached my first goal and now I'm coming back here to regain my self control.
Also, I've started exercising.. instead of going to the gym (I no longer have a membership now that I graduated..) I am playing 1-1.5 hour of tennis 4 times a week.
My goal right now is to drop 5 lbs and get back down to 180 within 5-6 weeks. I also want to stop snacking compulsively. I want to reduce the amount of sugar I'm consuming.. and I want to eat more vegetables and fruit. Basically I want to get back to the healthy lifestyle I had this past spring.
In the meantime, I affirm my self acceptance and self love.. it has been tough gaining the weight back emotionally - a real hit to my self esteem. But, I affirm that I am beautiful whether I'm 185 or 175.
