Today went out to the garden and pick a scrubpail full of cucumbers that I have to decide what to do with.
Also discovered that my tomatoes are ripening. I picked two ice cream pails full of tomatoes. They will end up my home canned tomato soup eventually.
Today my allergies have me wiped out. Eyes are itchy and have headache again. didn't help that going out to the garden.
We have not had rain in so long and it is so dry here that we are classified as being in a severe drought. Hubby got out the sprinkler when he got home. Hopefully that will keep it from all burning up. I have mixed feelings on that. Part of me is tired of dealing with fresh produce and the other part wants the canned stuff for winter. Wish I felt better to put things up. Tomorrow we have a family birthday party...so we will see how much gets done.
