So, yesterday was day 2 of my 5:2 diet. I did good, and didn't really get hungry, however, I did get a little peckish. I had my premiere protein strawberries n cream shake, 32 ounces of sugar free fruit punch drink, got home fixed a salad consisting of a handful of fresh spinach leaves, a handful of red grapes, a chopped mushroom, a very small handful of crutons, and less than 2 tablespoons of Olive Garden dressing. I sampled 1 slice of baked apples, baked in molasses, a little honey and cinnamon, and a very small bite of rice cooked with golden mushroom soup, to go with baked chicken that we will be having Wednesday night for dinner. So, I went from 217.3 on Monday morning to 215 this morning. I know it's not true weight loss, after all it was only 1 day, but still. Progress like that, keeps you motivated. The question will be, what I do today and tomorrow, as Thursday is another Fasting day. Oh, and my sugar was 98 this morning.
