Just spent 30 days in the hospital and rehab, with no relief from symptoms! Found out I have an inflamed liver (aka Alcoholic Fatty Liver) and a weak autoimmune system chewing it up as well. NO SOLUTION, NO RESOLVE! Still can't walk, get up, or exert in any way. In fact, I'm worse, heavy water weight gain (30 pounds in less than a month while hospitalized!)
And complete body edema that is weeping lots of clear fluid (like out of a blister}, out of both legs and arms all day. Have to keep changing sweat pants and socks all day. Back to primary on Thursday, Sept 2nd. If they don't get this figured out ASAP, I'm going to Duke or Chapel Hill. Probably have to resign from my job at CC. What happened??? The ONLY thing I can think of is I got the second Pfizer vaccine in mid-April, and it has gone steady DOWNHILL after that. NO ONE WILL LISTEN!!!
I HAVE COMPLETELY QUIT DRINKING. It's been over a month now. I truly don't miss it. Drs. said it would kill me quickly now. Thanking God that my liver hadn't quite started to cirrhose yet. Have to now switch to a liver healthy diet: LEAN meats and seafood, FRESH fruits and vegetables, LOW sodium, LOTS of water, and of course absolutely NO ALCOHOL whatsoever.

Getting back to myself a little after this terrible bout with low blood pressure, or what ever it is. Debilitating fatigue, extreme shortness of breath,can't walk,and heart beats out of your chest. Could not take a shower without stopping mid way to rest and catch my breath. Husband had to grocery shop, do laundry and cook, and load the dishwasher because I COULD NOT.
Cardiac MRI tomorrow, hope they can figure it out... regular Dr. and a Cardiologist haven't so far. Wearing a heart monitor for 30 days now.
On a better note, I am sticking pretty closely to the keto diet again. I like it and it keeps my mind sharp. Want to get back down to 120-125 again. I'll try not to be so MIA, but April and May and half of June were very difficult.

All that staying home and cooking has added 5 pounds which I fully intend to keto off! Think about it, the only place you can go is to the grocery store or WalMart. Nothing else to do but cook, cook, cook! I was so very upset and scared at the start of this pandemic...all I wanted to do was eat...especially crunchy junk and ice-cream. But now is the time to nip it in the bud before 5 pounds become "I can't fit into my clothes!"
