Detox is a good idea after the first holidays
For lunch and as post workout I had a smoothie (I love smoothies) made with: 1 low fat peach yogurt, 1 banana, 1 apple and a table spoon of chia seeds on the top. Yummi and healthy.
Now I need to be in the office in a rush, I hope to be able to go for a run late tonight ;)

There are three things on which I have to work on as a starter, three bad habits that I need to change:
1. drink more water
I forget to drink water sometimes, there are days that I really drink 1/2 glass a day and this habit must change. I need to try to sign my food calendar and be more careful about this behavior. I need to get use to go around with a bottle of water always with me even if I'm busy working.
2. eat slowly
There are days that as a freelancer I'm overstressed. When I sit down to eat lunch or dinner, main meals, I eat too fast. I need to calm down and chew more slowly to give the time to my brain to understand that my stomach is full. And especially dinner: don't do it in front of TV. This habit is so bad especially because it's a kind of boomerang, got a drug effect: I feel like food is a comfort, not because it's delicious, but because I chew a bigger quantitity of food. I need to stop this. Concentrate on what I'm eating and learn to spoil it as a gift.
3. limit the consuption of Parmigiano Reggiano / Grana Padano
The funny thing is that when I was a child I didn't like that much cheese, I preferred sweet to salt things. Now is about the same but I love to death these two kind of cheese - Parmigiano Reggiano and Grana Padano - they are my weak. I talked to a friend who is a professional nutrisionist and she told me that I would be supposed to eat 40 gr per week on an healthy diet. The truth is that I'm able to eat 500 gr in 4 days during rough times! If I'm sincere with myself I believe that this - together with a sedentary life because of work, are the main reasons of my fattening. I'm aware that Parmigiano Reggiano / Grana Padano are my favourite comfort food. When I'm overstressed I repair to them, in huge quantities. This must change, especially because they are truly healthy food, but not in those quantities I eat them.

Well done to me ...congratulations! Definitely not a good time - Christmas time - to start a diet when all those delicious things are around. In addition my training for surfing season got lazy (crazy cold wind from Russia reached us) and gymn stopped. Result: I'm putting weight on.
I'll restart the training by myself today even if the 31st of december we will have another massive dinner.
Most important goals of the training: reinforcing upper and lower limbs ...and why not putting a bit of weight off?

Today is the day I decided I had to do something.
It's not the first day of the new life as for lunch I was at the restaurant for Grandpa's birthday and definitly I ate too much and I didn't trained at all.
Tomorrow -
the 9th of december 2014
- will be the first day of my new life. No more excuses, even if it's for work. It's really time to do something. I got the sensation it will be hard.
Two simple rules:
- bad food + training
