I have 2 sons 22 & 21 and I have a grandson 23 months old. I love being a mom and a grandma. I am a person who always looks on the bright side of things and I know everything happens for a reason. We do not always know the reason but I feel we are supposed to learn from the good and bad which builds our character. I work long hours as a billing and coding consultant for a large hospital network.

I was skinny and could eat whatever I wanted up through age 20. I didn't have to exercise I just didn't have to worry about what I ate. I loved playing softball, volleyball, and bowling.

At age 20 I started gaining weight gradually, at ages 23 & 24 I had my sons and gained more weight after having them. The past 25 years I have always taken care of my family first and I have been last on the priority list. That has gotten me to this point were I now have to make myself the priority to lose weight and get healthy.
