You lost five pounds on Phase 1. The main point there is to get you *very* accustomed to the good fats and good carbs, so if you feel you won't jump back into eating too much of these, Phase 2 might be ok. Many people extend it out for a week or two since it forces you to be imaginative with Phase 1 foods and when you finally get into Phase 2 you are very moderate in your needs. After two weeks however, it should be ok to move to Phase 2 *if* you are careful of your overall intake IMHO. In other words, bring in the carbs slowly, one at a time and watch yourself to see what happens. Good Luck!
