Jornal de nutmegger, 25 jan 08

Good "food" day today. I started out the morning with some high fiber cereal (Bob's Red Mill-- 10 g fiber per serving!!) and banana, and it's amazing how it's curbed my appetite for the rest of the day. With my exercise points for the day, I have 13 points for dinner. Yay!

Trying not to weigh myself until next Wednesday, my WI day. I am a daily weigher, but am trying to break myself of that frustrating and self-destructive habit.

Way to eat healthy! What are you going to splurge on for dinner? I had 17 points left by dinner time so I splurged on a 6 point Juicy Jumbo hot dog and a 3 point hot dog bun! It was yummy. I haven't had a hot dog in a long time so it was a real treat. Good for you for trying to break away from the lure of the scale. I know it is difficult. I started out believing I could wait until my weekly weigh ins. Now I'm back to weighing every day! I've learned to not let it bother me when it fluctuates. But I still get frustrated when weigh in day comes and there isn't anything good to report! I hope you have success "kicking the habit"!
