Jornal de nutmegger, 24 jan 08

Feeling good today, because the scale was down a full 1.5 pounds from yesterday! Scale said 210.5. I'm using Wednesday as my official weigh in day, and although I'm tempted to change my number above, I will let it ride until Wednesday.

Battling insomnia lately. I fall asleep fine, but I wake up around 3 am and cannot go back to sleep. Can't stand lying in bed awake, so I just get up. Sigh.

Woohoo! Way to go on the loss! And to lose while battling insomnia at the same time is quite the accomplishment. It can sap your strength and your willpower and sabotage your metabolism so, "Way to go!"

YAY!!! The scales are moving well!!! It's so tempting to weigh every morning/evening...I get addicted to the scales and obsessed by what they say if I'm not careful! lol I wonder what is causing the insomnia? Are you having a lot of caffeine during the day? Just a few cups of coffee or tea in the day can cause me a problem in the night sometime. Or, given the time of year you are dealing with, it could just be the emotions linked to it. You may find you just have to ride it for a couple of weeks and rest when you can. Things will get easier...it does take time. It's like a roller coaster ride but you'll find it easier to cope with in time. Try to have a good day :)
