I'm getting frustrated! I started exercising December 31. I've done at least 15 minutes (usually more) of exercise every day and done really well sticking to my Atkins diet and haven't lost an ounce. I typically lose 2 pounds a week and that was before starting to exercise. I thought when I started exercising that I would lose more. What gives??? I know I am burning more calories. And I'm exercising first thing in the morning before having anything to eat. I'm drinking 90-100 oz of water a day, no diet soda's or other beverages.

You're gaining muscle! That's why you aren't losing. Don't just rely on the scale to let you know you are getting smaller, start taking your measurements, I guarantee you are still burning off that fat!! Just keep doing what ur doing and that weight will come off. You are doing everything right, kudos for keeping your head up and keeping strong!

Thanks for the support. I did take my measurements on January 1st. I hope its muscle gain and not a true plateau. I am doing weight training as well as cardio. I hope you are right!

wds... If you started 31 Dec, then your're on Day 5 right? It is not uncommon on Atkins to not start loosing until the second week. Reserve judgement until Day 14.

I've been on Atkins since Sept. 9 and I've lost 32 pounds so far. I just started exercising on Dec. 31. I thought it would boost my weight loss. I'll continue what I'm doing and hope for the best. I do notice an increase in my energy level since starting regular exercise.
