It's been an interesting week and a half. Ruptured achilles the 13th, surgery to repair the 20th. No weight on the foot for over a week now. had a dream that had me jumping in my sleep (ouch!). 5 weeks on crutches? The challenge continues. I've been eating only vital health items for tendon health. Dr. said the tendon went right back together(didn't need to drill a hole in my heel). For this I am grateful. I'm fairly certain that has saved me alot of pain. Pain or not, I really want ALL my mobility back. So I'll follow the Dr.'s orders and stay off the foot. I'll be working hard at the heat and cold therapy when that time comes. For now, I'll just keep this thing elevated to get the swelling from surgery down. No scale/weigh dates for another 3 plus weeks. Upper body strength training should start in April.
