So live have changed and now I know why I have not been able to go down for weeks. I just found out that I am 8 weeks prego with my frist child. We are both so excited, but because of my hyperthyroidism I am going to be highrisk. Dr imformed me I must now take in wholegrains, fruit and milk in my diet now. I plan on eatting healthy carbs oats and fruit. I need support kind scary that I will gain a lot when I had these things in. I have worked so hard to lose 60lbs dont want to be back there but I need to do whats best!

Add low glycemic carbs in slowly to transfer from Atkins. If you eat a balanced diet of fruit, low fat dairy, vegetables, whole grains, and lean meat, you will not gain tons of weight. You only need about 300 extra calories a day for the baby. You can watch your diet and be healthy while you are pregnant (that's the way it should be). If the doctor lets you walk, than that's even better. Congrats on the baby and good luck!
