Jornal de Zannaxi, 25 mai 24

Im not sure what a journal entry really is. Im not sure if anybody is ever going to find this either but if you have I welcome you to what is hopefully the beginning of a consistent journey from 72kg to 100kg.

I am 195cm (man) 6 foot 4.8 according to google if you are american. 72kgs is 158.732829 pounds. I look like a rag of bones I cant even describe it any other way. My goal is 220.462262 pounds.

I have been underweight my whole life, with a small appetite. Smoking every day doesnt really help. Anyway, I am now going to change and I do not care what it cost. I am in the middle of my twenties and never once have I even been normal weight in my life. We shall see how it goes.

You can ask questions, give an update on your goals or life, tell a joke, take photos of your food or activities. You can also scroll through others journal entries which is a great way to learn new things or be inspired by what others do.

Welcome. First of all can I assume you are healthy, have seen a physician and know that that aside from being underweight, you are otherwise healthy? In your country do you have access to a dietitian or nutritionist? The important thing about trying to gain weight is not to resort to high calories, processed foods— junk food. You want to successfully end your journey with a healthy heart and liver. One of the crucial tools on FS is a digital scale— weigh (as best you can in grams) and record it. You need to be able to see what and how much of your preferred foods that you are actually eating. Also record your activities, see how many calories you are burning in a usual day. Data is necessary. It may seem tedious but it is really useful. Also, I encourage you to read and learn about the function of the nutrients that we eat. Feel free to ask questions of the collective but don’t think that what everyone else is doing is good for your situation. Remember that your health is important

Ps, if you post photos, they get cropped into a square unless you upload a link and paste. If you want to know how to do that you can ask me. The computer website is really great and you can put all that in your bio if you'd like!

Thank you for the nice comments =) I resonate strongly with what you said Kenna. I actually bought a digital scale to be as precise as possible with my food as you said, as for tracking the calories I burn in a day is something I have not thought of before, thank you for that. There was a period I thought the answer was eating 10 cheeseburgers from Burger King a day as one cheeseburger has 400 calories, but I have since come around to what youre saying now. Health is important and thank you again for worrying. Thank you as well jenjabba and I might have to take you up on that offer if I need some help! =D

And yes I am completely healthy as far as I know luckily. I will go to the doctor soon to find out what I may lack in vitamins and such as prior to this last month my diet has not been too good

Welcome Zannaxi. Wonderfully supportive people here. My partners son is in a similar situation in that he is 6'2" and 140lbs. He does have significant mental and physical health issues (cerebral palsy with a subsequent brain injury as an adult) though and lives in a group home. What we have added to his daily food regimen are calorie dense nuts and drink supplements. Our struggle though is that he will forgo his group home meals instead of having snacks in between his meals but so it goes. All that being said, he has gained a lb a month since we started this and his labs are coming back better too. You can do this!

Hi, I am sure you can do it easily, but try to eat healthy options like natural sugars, complex carbohydrates a lot , also protein and healthy fats. I think fruits and smoothies are going to be your best friends also whole wheat pasta ! Good luck to you !

Good luck dude hit the weights , track your lifts and progressively overloaded them, eat enough food as in 250 to 500 calories over your daily burn, get adequate sleep and recovery time and you will be golden 👍 this will take you many may years to achieve the results you are after it's a marathon not a sprint 😀
