I wasn't at peak condition and then had a super rough two months and gave no consideration to my health. So here I am trying to reset! I signed myself up for a Turkey Trot 5k on Thanksgiving Day with a goal of not walking or stopping. I do much better when I have a goal in mind. Yesterday was day three of training and I ran for the first time in six months or so (I typically enjoy other exercises when I work out). I ran two miles in 23 minutes. 🙌 However I think today needs to be a rest or low impact day as I'm pretty sore. I know Thanksgiving is close but I'm really excited to enter my fist 5k! I hope I can do it! But either way I'm excited to have a goal and be working on my health again!
