Jornal de Pterath, 06 set 15

Got up and went for a walk almost immediately. It was chilly out and very foggy and my pace was slower because my shoe rubbed my achilles tendon and trying to keep it from rubbing made my gate funny so I did not go as far. No blister but these shoes are not new but the socks were old I think the sock was the culprit where it was thin and thread bare. Did not realize when I picked them out in the dark. Needless to say they are in the trash now. I still managed 2.75 miles. Not bad all things considered. I think I shivered until my body warmed after the first 20 mins, takes that first mile to get me sweating. Hope that means I burned extra calories. :D

More work to do today and hopefully I will get it all finished providing I don't have gazillion interruptions.

I had that same sort of sock problem on a hike last weekend, but I wasn't able to avoid the blister. It has been annoying me all week. Glad you were able to get a walk in this morning. I find that is a very peaceful way to start the day. Have a good one.

And I finally caught up with work!! RAWR!!!! TOmorrow I will get play time! Planning on having a cook out here at home. Pork spare ribs, cole slaw, baked taters(not for me), and grilled brussel sprouts, peppers, onions and mushrooms. Which reminds me I need to do some prep work! Hope everyone enjoys their holiday weekend safely!

It always takes me 2 miles to warm up lol.

my 2nd 1/10 of a mile or so are at about a 15-20% grade so I think that helps.
