If you look close you will see two robins taking a bath in the waterfall in our backyard this morning🥰. What you cannot see is the finch swimming in the pool at the bottom😂 and the dozen or so various other birds that are in the dogwood tree right above to the left. It was so enchanting. Ive seen the finches bathe in there before but never robins. Made my heart smile. God bless all. Also weight is starting to go back up so trying to figure out the caloric balance to maintain. Im fine going to 135-138 but just want to figure out where my solid day to day is. Was getting excited that i was going up in calories but maybe it was just my body burning extra from healing.

Storms, Ugg. I would love to be one of those high burner fast metabolism folks. I so love to eat. Well, i guess most people do.

Rpl-me too. What is really awesome is on a bright sunny day when there are 6-9 yellow finches and they are all either swimming or flipping water over their backs and washing themselves. Color is spectacular and the flowers are blooming around the water. So pretty. Everything around the pond (flowers) are spent by first week of September so it becomes very gray and the colorful birds are usually gone. I dont let the little black boy in the yard when they are out there playing in water because he will chase them. The big white boy doesnt bother them at all.

My grandson loves nature and he will be so quiet and still so he can watch them. We had a hummingbird in my flowers and we were able to stand there and watch it for a couple of minutes. But we also have taught him to respect nature because the geese here will come after you if you chase them! LOL

My mom used to be able to get both the hummingbirds and the squirrels to land on her finger and take treats from her when i was a child. We had a pet hummingbird who could not fly. He could whir his wings and buzz around the floor but could not gain altitude so we took him in the house and cared for him all his life. We called him sparky. (For spark plug maybe?). He was lovely.

There's nothing quite like nature to set the mood for the day! 🤗🥰 Didn't you say you've started back strength traing?? Muscle regain/water retention from that causing the gain?

Z-nope not till next Tuesday and first two weeks are supposed to be very light. So weird. Today im back down about a pound and had over 1400 calories yesterday. Im pretty consistent with water intake and careful most of the time with sodium so i dont get it. I will just keep monitoring.

YOH... I don't pry into people's food diaries, so idk what yours looks like. ...but just know that a fluctuation in carbs equals a fluctuation in water weight. No worries, hun! You've got this under control! 😉

Z-im going to have to look at my carbs for that day. The protein was down i know. Carbs were probably up i had a white potato which i normally avoid and last night i went back to higher protein. Good point. I dont care if you or anyone wants to look at my food diary. It may help some people? I even put in the entire bag of chocolate chips that I managed to down in 24 hours a week or so ago. Didnt want to but accountability.
