Jornal de old_but_not_out, 09 jul 23

Another Sunday, another airport, another city. Weeks change but the story remains the same :-). I am one week away from my weight loss anniversary. Somehow time flies and crawls at the same time. How is it july already?
Except weekends I only had 3 days at home in June and will probably have less for the remaining of the year.
4 new branches to open and 2 to move. I have slipped in exercise but that is changing on this trip. I walked/ran 11 miles the past two days. My goal is 15,000 steps every day. I will use the hotel gym daily as well. I haven’t lost much weight recently but my body continues to change. Bought new shirts. Feels good not having an x before the L. Even better not having a 3 or 4 before the x lol.
My goal is to be in the 150’s when I get home from this trip.

I am AMAZED you’ve lost 119 so far! That is inspiring!! Keep up the good work. Nutrition comes 1st anyway, so if walking is and nutrition is what you can do during this busy time, that is GREAT!

@JB. Actually yes. It’s far easier when I drive so she spent last week in Boston with me. In august I have a multi week trip to Orlando I will probably bring her so we can go to Disney world a day or two. She is jealous today because my room is 15 min from where she grew up so I will probably drive when I come back in a few weeks.

@zenus thank you for the kind words. Good luck with your fast. I did some of that last year to control my appetite but not longer than a day or two. For quite a bit of last year I didn’t eat on my travel day so it would make it easier to avoid airport and airplane food.

Routine is hard on the move I have similar phases in a typical year - I just try to find the gaps and be creative even on some days carry my bags up the stairs @ airports and hotels is the best I manage all the best 💪

Well done Russ 💪💪 On The Road dieting is a struggle but you are making it work. Thanks for the enlightenment that I’ve been too easily letting the road steal my gym sessions this week. I see Fargo has a Planet Fitness……💪💪 the tour continues.

Yes it’s a challenge humpty, a challenge I haven’t done as well with lately but I do my best. 66 you do far better than I because you actually make it to the gym.

It’s been a tough week. Haven’t been out walking at all. Still hit my 15,000 steps a day just at work so I guess that’s enough. I fly home tomorrow. Not going to work at all. Two meetings that I can do on my phone. I have a bunch of things to work on over night but at least I can sleep late tomorrow. Can’t wait to see my wife and the cats. Leave again Tuesday but I am pretty stoked about 3 days at home My 32’s are getting loose :-)

Got my ass up this morning and found a five mile trail around a nature preserve near the hotel. Then didn’t recognize that I walked passed my entry point. 16,184 steps at 7 in the morning with an open schedule the next three days.
