@YearofHealth…I usually use Lily’s. This time I had to get Bake Believe. I enjoy it as an occasional treat. Still high calorie so, I eat this in moderation, and they are SF. Lily’s is 50 cal per tbs (15g). Bake Believe is 60 cal per tbs. I melted 2 tbs w 1/2 tsp of coconut oil. Just needed my chocolate fix! I figure it’s better than a couple of snickers.

If it tastes too much like real chocolate and high calorie i wont be able to budget small amount. I have some food obsession type issue. Tried keto bombs to fool myself for a treat but they had other not great things going on for me re cholesterol. Currently im making banana protein muffins with choc chips and those give me a little of that sweet thing

It’s also why I can’t have ice cream or lays…will wake my inner beast even tho im all grown up🥹🥹

@I totally get it! I weigh and measure everything I eat. I splurged and had 28g of cheese Sun ☀️ Chips I bought for my granddaughters and I wanted to rip the whole bag open and shove my face with the entire bag! Lol. It’s been a long while since I’ve had my favorite chip! But, I didn’t! Wanted too, honestly! 😩 It’s been a 1yr and 6 month process that not only eating too much sugar was bad for me, but OVEREATING was a major contributor to my developing type 2 diabetes. 🙄 So, won’t go back to that! CICO for me. Controlling my appetite w whole foods helps! But, we are human! I’m used to portion control now and my body has adjusted. It’s normal now. Took about 3 months initially to adjust to not overeating just whatever I wanted. I keep with in 1700 - 2200c daily since I’m in maintenance. One thing I can’t and won’t live without, PB (homemade) & SF chocolate or unsweetened cocoa powder. Just tweaked healthier. Lol

I'm a fan of quality dark chocolate, in moderation. Sadly, I haven't been moderating well lately, so I need to reel it in again. I do love just a square of 90% dark chocolate with an apricot to finish off dinner sometimes. And we do often have chocolate chia seed pudding sometimes, although we use less maple syrup than most people do

@writingwyo…yum! That all sounds wonderful! I make chocolate or coconut chia seed pudding and eat it almost daily. Chia seeds are amazing and make me feel good eating them! A staple in my diet. TYFS your dark chocolate and dried apricot idea!

Alter Eco makes a fabulous 90% cocoa dark chocolate without any weird ingredients. I even like their 100% cocoa bar, bitter as it is. You might try it!

I get it at Natural Grocers. If you don't have one of those, Whole Foods might carry it
