Jornal de fitforever, 25 jul 11

ok so five things i like:

- the skin around my waist is tighter
- my thighs don't rub as much when i walk
- i cooked more regularly last week
- i didn't overeat at the banquet last night
- i'm starting to see a slightly slimmer face in the mirror

5 things i don't like:
- haven't been to the gym in 2 weeks
- got up late today, and slept through my excercise time
- was not drinking as much water as i should this weekend
- bought a muffin for the first time since March only because a colleague wanted company to pick up lunch
- feel like i'm addicted to sugary stuff again
Another weekend down. Compare to the last week, I did alright this time around. I can't pretend that I didn't have ice cream everyday, because I did...but I also did that last weekend. The difference is, I had no soda whatsoever, and I was a lot more physically active. On Friday night and Saturday morning I was heaving patio stones and shoveling limestone. It took about 40 mins each time. We're redoing our front porch and putting in a patio. So soon, I'll be laying stones too. A year or two ago, I would not have helped with this sort of work. But now, I'm eager to find opportunities to get my exercise from day to day domestic tasks. It's better than camping on the couch with Netflix.

Caribana is this weekend. So I'm going to have to reveal my body in a few days. I pick up my teeny weeny bikini costume on wednesday. I'm not at the weight I wanted to be, but compared to where I was...I'm a lot more comfortable with my weight and size than I was this time last year.
