I keep counting how many weeks it might take to get to my goal. if I lose 1, 1.5, 2 lbs a week. why do I torture myself? I'm trying to stop the "need to be skinny" mentality. I don't need to be skinny. I need to be comfortable. I want to love me. I don't know why it's so entrenched with my weight --my ability to love myself -- like childhood trauma doesn't exist or the voices in my head are my own imagination. <sigh>. just thinking out loud.
