So today is technically day 1 of my eating healthy and exercizing. I was supposed to start months ago, but life and laziness got ahold of me. Of course, right? Lol Anywho, I want my life back and to be able to have the confidence to do whatever I choose. For breakfast I ate a sandwhich for. (White bread with Foster Farms turkey and chicken balogne meat and about a Tbsp of mayo. plus a cup of coffee with some creamer/no "added" sugar) I know it sounds like something one wouldnt be eating on a "diet", but at the moment I am mainly focusing on portion control. Well, lets see what the rest of the day has in store for me. Thinking positive. :)

I know that documenting all of my food really helps me through the day - and planning what I'm going to eat when I am hungry next time. I can watch how much fat/protein/carbs I am eating and adjust accordingly 50%/30%/20%. Good luck to you!!!

Another thing I can say here for you would be to count your calories. (ergo the food journal) Even without exercise, you will lose weight if you just lessen your calorie intake. Furthermore, drink lots of water. Trust me it really helps. Then, finally, (the way I did it) if you were to eat an entire burger for example, cut it in half and eat the other half later. This spreads your meals into 5 or 6 times a day, increasing your metabolic rate. Drink 1 glass of water before and after each meal, and whenever you are hungry. As time goes by, you will notice, little amounts of food will keep you fuller, longer. Good luck, welcome, and so happy that you are even trying!!!!
