Jornal de hypothyroid girl, 25 jan 23

I shot my daily carb limit in the foot in one go with some breaded and baked potato wedges. 62g in 1 potato. I had a weak moment. The remainder of the day it's going to be rough to try to get in more calories and protein without adding even more carbs. It's shaping up to be another day when I fall far short of the 1200 calorie intake I set for myself. I have only hit 1200 once in a week. Averaging 1000. I'm supposed to be slowly increasing my calorie intake in an effort to reset my metabolism and get it out of starvation mode. I'm finding that very difficult. I could use some tips on controlling my carb cravings and still getting adequate caloric intake.

While I don’t recommend excessive refined carbs, I find that limiting carbs in general too much can also be a hindrance to weight loss. I am wondering if it may be a hindrance to your weight loss and health if you are restricting so much as to not get enough calories? Only you can answer that. Good luck and I agree you got this

Thanks. I know I'm not getting enough calories. I find it really hard to eat enough protein and fat to hit 1200 a day. I don't have much of an appetite usually, so I've only been averaging 1000 calories or a little less.

I had a weak day too today when I got home from work lol. One of those days.
