Looks great! I'm not at all trying to start an argument here, but if you CAN'T afford an air fryer, you'll get the same results out of a convection oven... because they're the same thing - air fryers are just overpriced convection ovens. I've had one of those round portable glass convection ovens for over 7 years - they currently go for $52 at K-Mart (Australia). It cooks food the same way an 'air fryer' does, just as fast, with the added benefit of being much easier to clean and (unlike most air fryers) you can see your food cooking.

I picked mine up at a resale shop for $25. Almost new. I like it but I'm not used to using it. Mine is one of the big egg types.

I haven't taken mine out of the box yet, bought at Costco about 4 weeks ago. Maybe I should, that looks great!

I have the budget, but alas, not the room! I've told my husband that the next house we own has to have room for more kitchen toys. Salmon looks great!

Took us a little while to get the hang of it too, but totally agree! Writingwyo, our kitchen doesn't have a ton of counter space, but we literally use our countertop oven/air fryer for everything. That thing works 10x harder than my double oven range!

Pretty much all the food I show here is cooked in that little thing.

Yum! I love our air fryer. I use it for meat and veggies all the time. Love sheet pan recipes. Plus with the hot weather it keeps the kitchen a little cooler with not having to run the oven or stove.

TDX00 you are correct.... but in my experience having both I like the air fryer better because it seems to be quicker and cooks more evenly.
we got ours on sale around Christmas time last year. I think it was $60? it's big. it's a black and decker toaster oven air fryer combo.

MrsCuCuCaChootoyou...
There's no temperature setting on mine. But I put the dial to 15 mins for a 1 lb piece of salmon.

Tell me how you made it. Seasoned ? How do you know how long to do it?

Deanne1sStrong...I put it in the air fryer 15-20 mins. There is no temp setting on mine. I use adobo, garlic, parsley and paprika for seasoning. I just sprinkle a bit on ( I measured it before...I think it's less than 1/8 tsp each). No oil. The fish has it's own. So I just lay it on the grill and watch til it's not pink anymore.
