Dehydrated, did not drink nearly enough water yesterday for the stuff I was doing. Tried to swim, but ended up ripping two separate swim caps in rapid succession. May be time to cut the hair. There's a lot of it. I don't ever recall tearing two caps in one day even in competition. Swam on and off for the whole thirty minutes. 8.6 METs, 756 strokes, two dead caps and a leaky pair of goggles. average heart rate of 121, but there was more rest than normal. I'm actually surprised I got that many strokes in there, but hey, got 'em in. Good enough. Followed up with a dog walk of 2.49 miles. Nice night after the two storms of the previous days. I always love the night sky after the rain. you can see so far. did I take any pics? nope. was just chilling. lots going on, kinda stressed, it was my unwinding time as opposed to letting myself become unwound.
Lunch with BF at the fish place. we've agreed to try it when the crowds descend, but I have to drive. fun. who knows, it may not be that bad. the worst beach weekends are the holidays and those are on the calendar.
